Colossal Curl™ To Make A Splash At Water Country USA® in Spring 2014

Water Country USA’s guests are in for an epic journey on the park’s newest thrill ride – Colossal Curl™, set to debut at Virginia’s largest water park this spring. Park officials announced details about the attraction today via Busch Gardens’ official YouTube channel.   Visit to watch the official video as well as teaser videos the park released over the past several weeks leading to today’s announcement. Make sure to click on the subscribe button to stay up-to-date on Colossal Curl developments.   True to its name, this mega slide promises to deliver a high-adrenaline, action-packed adventure. Colossal Curl features a funnel element that will swish and swirl guests before whisking them through the ride’s enclosed colorful tubes on their way to a wave element that hurtles them high above the park.   “Hanging ten will have a whole new meaning for Colossal Curl riders,” said Larry Giles, vice president of engineering for Busch Gardens® and Water Country USA®. “There is nothing else like it in North America.”   Colossal Curl is being built near the park’s main guest entrance. Kings Dominion to Hire Hundreds and announces 2 new maze’s for Halloween Haunt

DOSWELL, VA (July 26, 2013) – Kings Dominion is hiring for the largest scare force in the region for the 13th season of Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion. In all, Kings Dominion is looking to fill 644 positions, which is a 6% increase from 2012.   Kings Dominion will introduce two mazes for the 13th season of Halloween Haunt – “Miners Revenge” and “Zombie High”. “Miner’s Revenge” is based around the darkness of a coal mine where dead miners are seeking their revenge on unsuspecting guests. Kings Dominion Recognized as StormReady by the National Weather Service
