ACKSON, N.J. — July 3, 2026 — Six Flags Great Adventure invites guests to celebrate Independence Day and America's 250th anniversary with Star-Spangled Nights presented by M&M'S®, a three-day patriotic celebration taking place July 3 through July 5. The holiday weekend will feature dazzling fireworks, live entertainment, interactive family activities and special nighttime experiences across the park.

The celebration is highlighted by the Star-Spangled Nights Fireworks Celebration on July 3 and 4 at 9:30 p.m., when brilliant fireworks illuminate the skies above the park's lakefront in a tribute to America's birthday.

Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy a variety of patriotic entertainment and interactive experiences, including:

Star-Spangled Banner performances by the Singin' SeaGals from Shoreline Pier each morning at the Main Street Fountain. Floundering Fathers, a family-friendly dad joke competition where guests crown the ultimate King of Dad Jokes. The Hot Dog Showdown, an all-American eating contest featuring six competitors racing to become Top Dog. The Great Adventure Feud, an interactive Americana trivia challenge where guests compete for prizes and bragging rights. Live music from the Backyard Patio Band performing throughout the afternoon at the Main Street Pub Patio. Enchanted Illuminations: Tribute to America, transforming the Giant Wheel into a patriotic nighttime light spectacular every 30 minutes beginning at 7:30 p.m. on July 3 and 4, with a modified schedule during the fireworks presentation.

Guests can also experience everything Six Flags Great Adventure has to offer during the holiday weekend, including Shoreline Pier at The Boardwalk, Boardwalk Nights, world-class roller coasters, family attractions, delicious seasonal dining and more.
