The Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster has reopened at Universal Studios theme park Wednesday.

The coaster was closed in mid-September for what Universal said was maintenance.

The closure came after the German ride manufacturer issued a warning concerning a potential flaw in the ride vehicles.

The attraction opened at Universal in August 2009 and features a dramatic 90-degree lift hill, a track that winds to the back to the park and busting through the New York scenery before skirting the Universal CityWalk area and returning to the station.
